Cardtranz.net Virtual Terminal

Offered exclusively by Cardtranz.net, our Virtual Terminal allows merchants to authorize, capture and settle credit card transactions by using their PC and the Internet. It is a secure, convenient way to process credit card transactions from any desktop. The Virtual Terminal eliminates the need to purchase expensive processing software or credit card terminals. 

To process a credit card transaction, merchants simply connect to the Virtual Terminal using a PC via the Internet. Once connected to the Cardtranz.net Virtual Terminal, all communication between the merchants PC and the server is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) V.3.0 encryption technology. Once connected to Cardtranz.net's secure server, the merchant would enter their username and password, as assigned to them by Cardtranz.net. Upon successful verification of the users security credentials, they can proceed in accessing the Virtual Terminal.

Easy navigation throughout the site allows users to select the transaction type, and simply and easily enter the cardholder information. Each user is assigned security credentials that define what types of transactions they can process (sale, credit, authorization, post-authorization, void). Optional data fields allow the user to enter additional information to construct a more complete transaction enhancing the value of the data for the merchant.

Once a transaction is submitted and processed (usually in less than 4 seconds), a result page is displayed that may be printed. The result page displays the credit card information entered, as well as either an approved or declined message. Upon approval, the authorization number will be displayed. On a declined transaction, a message will be displayed with the reason for the decline as well as potential resolutions to approve the transaction.  

The user may choose the next type of transaction to be processed or review the transaction detail for the current days transactions. Every user can view real-time detail for the transactions that they have run that day and print a report.
